Prior to reading this book, I have had several personal experiences with sleep paralysis and obe's. Obe's always happened after I started to 'vibrate' and then popped out of my body. When I say 'pop', I literally mean I heard a pop. I've had a few lucid dreams, but was always bouncing back and forth between controlling the dream and letting the dream control me.

How does navigating NPMR compare to this? Does the ability to lucid dream precede your ability to navigate NPMR? Is a lucid dream dreamscape really just navigating another reality?

Let say I had an obe (I felt one coming on the other night, after a long hiatus). Would simply intending to be in a certain place take me there? What provides the 'fuel' and steering wheel for your journeys out of body?

Welcome to Tom's site Waywardson. I believe the steering is intent.
