Hi guys. This is my first post on the forum, so I hope you like it and it gets us thinking.

Has anybody seriously thought about how hypnosis could be used to gain direct, unhindered access to the purported Akashic Records/Higher Knowledge. More importantly has anybody in this forum actually tried it? It should be quite simple to do. All you would need is a hypnotist and a volunteer. Basically, the hypnotist puts the volunteer into a (deep) hypnotic trance. Then that person's sub-conscious mind/soul is directed/guided to a relevant "file". This file could be anything you desired from new musical compositions, new mathematical equations, scientific ideas; even winning lottery numbers or horse racing results (I think Edgar Cayce helped a few gamblers in his time). If it really is this simple then surely it is worth testing. All this universal knowledge (past-future) maybe "out there" waiting to be explored.

What do you guys think? I personally feel that this hypothesis should have been proven by now. I mean it sounds easy to prove; just extract useful information like winning lottery numbers, then repeat the experiment over and over again. If successful and you keep winning then this would undoubtedly prove the theory once and for all. You would beat odds of "zillions"-to-one!

Other techniques to gain access to the records could be auto-hypnosis, deep meditation or astral projection.

What do you guys think of this hypothesis?... Your input would be appreciated.

I personally feel that this hypothesis should have been proven by now.
Each has to do it for him/her own self.

Hi, Welcome to the forum.

We call the Akashic records the past data base or the probable future data base. Generally your access would be restricted if all you wanted to do was to win the lottery or do something else that was just for self gain. If you do a search hear with the key word "lottery" you will see that it has been discussed quite a bit. If Edgar Cayce helped someone win money it was probably just a nudge from the LCS (Larger Consciousness System to help someone know there is a larger reality out there. That kind of information would not be available for gambling purposes but for those few exceptions.

Access to such a data base is available to anyone who knows how to do it. It may be a lot harder or impossible unless it will help your spiritual progression. Doing it just for curiosity or self gain isn't helping you evolve your consciousness.

The future data base is probable. Depending upon the probability spike you may or may not be able to influence it with your Intent. And information gotten from it may or may not come true depending upon the many factors effecting an event.


I've done many regression hypnosis CDs to explore my past lives - explore my own Akashic records so to speak. It gave me some useful information for my current life, but a lot of it was just entertainment.
