Simplest mind hack for meditation I've yet to stumble upon: using everything you manage to do with your non-dominant hand. If you have no need to use it, play with a toy or a pencil for as much as you can. Carry something with you to play with all day. Don't stop. Keep doing it at night even.
I've been doing this for about three days and its been more effective than any mantra or other technique..
Perhaps it'll do you well.. as well.. ;)
