If you meet Tom in your meditation, kill him immediately; don't allow him to stand there. Because the personality, the ideal of Tom Campbell may become so hypnotizing that you may forget yourself, and if you forget yourself you have missed the path. Tom Campbell is not the ideal; YOU are the ideal.
Your unknown future.
That has to be discovered.
The treasure is within you.
So remember this... it is very difficult to believe that you are the ideal - difficult for you to believe because everyone is condemning you. No one accepts you, not even you yourself. You go on condemning yourself. You always think in terms of being like someone else, and that is false, dangerous. If you go on thinking like that you will become a fake and everything will be phony.
...
The above is from Osho, except he was talking about Buddha. "Zen monks are Buddha's followers, and yet they say kill him immediately if you meet him in your meditation." Also I believe the last teaching Zarathustra gave his disciples was "beware of Zarathustra." Tom has also stated this in his way. He said it is better to throw out the Great Guru and do serious work on your own than to just hang out with him in lieu of personal effort.
It should be obvious I am not referring to any black magic or real violence, it is more a freeing of the mind and accepting yourself.

very clever and very advanced first posting!
Buddhism is an excellent preparatory school for TOEism.
there is very little if any hanging out with Tom, in real life or virtually even here (unless they are partying and not inviting me!)
the bottom line indeed is that we each need to connect to our personal feedback loop, what happens next, where we are physically
QoC - your quality of conciousness, informs...
Intent - your QoC's general goal, informs....
intent - a specific goal from the IUOC level, informs...
decision - mental processing of intent....informs
action - body follows command of mind, causes...
result - impact on other FWAUs...impact on rocks and stuff is not important, causes...
feedback - QoC becomes more, or less, organized (lowering entropy) based on your intent...
what you actually decided, did and the actual result, is not so important
QoC forms modified generic Intent based on feedback...and loop begins again
decision making is constrained/focused/improved by values that are informed by PMR results and emotional feedback, reading, opinions of friends on MBTOE forum, at the mental level
action becomes more effective with practise and discipline - decision making follow-through ...what-I-decide-is-what-I-do
so, over time, QoC, through Intent, intent, decision, action...becomes more effectively reflected in your results
effectiveness is less important than Intent/intent
a choice to not invest in effectiveness however, is an area of Intent, so becoming more effective generically is as fundamental as Intent/intent
this is my current understanding of the MBTOE model
