I thought I had listened to all of the explorer series, but somehow missed this one. It is a great explanation of the subjective nature of experience and (I would guess) is part of the data stream that Tom encountered/unraveled during his years of exploring.

It answers many questions that often come up about NPMR experiences, data, guides, etc.

I also hung around long enough to listen to Tape #32 in the "Explorer Series". It is entitled, "Seeking Personal Guidance".

Two different entities are "channeled" through one human being (identified as ROMC on the tape). It is amazing how differently the entities control her physical speaking apparatus -- sounds like two different people talking.

I believe that "ROMC" is Rosalind McKnight. She was one of their best "explorers", along with Tom Campbell and others. The first entity that speaks is male and he just more-or-less "warms up the audience" and introduces the second entity -- she is female and goes into the "nitty-gritty" of how you can set yourself up to receive "outside guidance" from higher beings -- if you want it.

Of course, such a thing requires definite "mind actions" from you -- strong Intent and Free Will. You must ASK for guidance and strongly intend that you wish direction and assistance in the right way to go for you. Guides are not going to "do it for you", but a wise counsel is worth a lot.

It is up to us, individually, to decide whether we wish to invite beings from NPMR into our lives. You must invite carefully, asking for beings wiser and more evolved than yourself to help -- you do not want any others, only those that can teach you -- that know more than you.

In any case, it is interesting to listen to what these entities have to say. It is sometimes difficult to clearly understand some of the things they say, because they are -- first of all -- probably finding it difficult to manipulate a human physical body to give a large group of people an audio speech, rather than telepathy. Secondly, they are (the ones we want teaching us anyway) likely much smarter than we are and probably struggle with how to make the ideas they present, and their words, simple enough so as not to confuse us. Sort of like you teaching a chicken how to do tricks, I guess.

Anyway, thanks for reminding me about the Explorer tapes. I intend to go back and listen to the all, as I have the time.

All of the explorer tapes really hold great value, especially once you've gotten through MBT and have some of it absorbed.

Actually, something of the altered state of consciousness inducer seems to carry through ... listening to those tapes can definitely assist your own explorations.

There must be hundreds or thousands of such tapes... wish they would make more available!

Hmm, gave 31 a whirl. One of the reasons of why I respect and resonate with Tom's work is because Tom stresses that we are trying to improve our quality of consciousness, and he talks about Love being a very important part of this process. In other words, there seems to be some kind of standard that applies universally, though still relatively in application to particular individuals--there is a larger system of some kind wherein ethics is fundamentally important.

This "stream of information" and non entity of 31, seems to take the stance that no perspective, no perception, no awareness or what not is more expanded, intrinsically accurate, etc. than another. Or, in other words, whatever floats your boat and it's all equal, but just different.

Hence, no need for discrimination, discernment, and one should be wide open to all sources of information etc. Sounds like what say, a limited and limiting, but clever source of information might want you to believe, in order to get a foot in the door so to speak.

Also, whether or not there are just streams of energy and information and then specific entities to receive information from, doesn't matter too much as far as "freedom" goes, since no matter what, the info/data has to get translated through you who is an entity. Hence, even if you are just accessing streams, there will still be distortions if there are distortions in you. The only way around that, is not so much by becoming open to all streams, sources, etc., but radically working on improving one's quality of consciousness. If one could become love in a more pure sense, this would seem to help with the distortions and allow true freedom.

I guess i disagreem with stream 31, or rather the channel accessing and translating the stream, on some fundamental parts and yet I very much know that so much of our experience of reality is subjective and relative. But even in the most expanded levels of the LCS, there is a sort of "judgement"..no not like human judgment with all the emotional baggage, ego, etc, but still a recognition that some ways, are essentially more helpful and freeing than others.

Yes, that is Rosalind McKnight. Just a quick correction. The 2nd entity that spoke through Rosie's 'vehicle' was the one nick-named "Ah So" by Bob Monroe. Ah So, had an inphysical dive as a human back in the ancient times of the Orient and was very much, physically at least, a "male" then, but I suspect that he was very in touch in with his feminine side then and even more so now, so I don't suppose It would mind being labeled a she ;-)

p.s. I have a strong connection to Rosie and to Ah So, and like them, found the above a bit humorous. Btw, more generally speaking, I find 32 to be much more helpful and practical in nature than 31, which for the most part seemed like intellectual distraction and masturbation to me.
