Also, search the forum (or just google) "Frank Kepple" ... he has a cozy essay on 'phasing' that will give you a handy way to think about your experiences as described.

Welcome to the group.

Just googled Frank Kepple and i really think it is something that will help. Anyone for that matter!

There are very similar experiences described in Robert Monroe's book. As I remember, he wrote about some kind of a portal which opened right in front of his eyes while he was in his office, and then he saw scenes about some future events in his life. Those scenes were not 100% accurate, there were some symbolism in them, so RM was able to understand those visions only after they had came true in his life.

I do not have such experiences, but I have had precognitive dreams many times. What puzzles me is that those dreams are about some mundane things which are pretty unimportant, but many times the dreams are really straight forward without any symbols.

Last year in august I had 5 precognitive dreams. When the first one came true, I thought: "Hmm, that's a nice coincidence." After the third, I tried to find some other explanations, but my math knowledge told me that chance for coincidence is too little, so I was "out of my comfort zone" for some time. Then came the 4th and fifth, and then I was not thinking about how could I possibly receive this info or whether it was or was not a coincidence, I was concerned about why I had such a series of dreams and maybe I am completely going nuts.

As I have lucid dreams often, I have tried to somehow spawn a precognitive dream, but I failed, so it seems I have no control of it.

So now I just accept such dreams as an amusing experience. Maybe it happens just because it happens and there is no special meaning about it. But maybe it is some kind of training for me to be able to determine when I receive real information and when I am just dreaming, and who knows, maybe some day it will play some important role in my life. "What ever will be -will be..."

The real point of precognitive dreams as you describe them is simply to point out to you that there is more to this reality than simple physicality. A nudge from the LCS as is frequently described here. To encourage you in your present path as in what you are trying to learn here. When you try to do more specific things like find out exam questions or lotto numbers, the Psy Uncertainty Principle steps in and will not permit it to happen.
