Martin,
Quote:
I can feel something changing, like something is in the air and after a very strange meditative experience I got the message that I shouldn't worry as everything is fine and what I think matters, really doesn't.
I have also investigated all of the conspiracy theories. And there may be some truth mixed in with the hype. But my problem started when I began to feel anger at being manipulated by people in power, and when I tried to spread information and awareness I began to wonder if I was (unintentionally) spreading fear instead. I decided that I do not want to spread fear, I want to spread love and compassion. Existing in a state of fear is a very painful existence (suffering), and while the state of love and compassion may come with some sadness, it is not the same tortured type of suffering (such as anger, hate, and fear).
We are all sending out "ripples" and "waves" into the environment. The problem is that whatever we "send out", we are also experiencing in our consciousness. Our thoughts are like seeds that we plant in order to harvest later. Think about what kind of seeds you really want to plant. So I decided that my job may not be to change the world, but to change myself (and my attitudes). Once my attitudes began to change, the whole world began to look very different.
The struggle is within you not outside. The struggle is between LOVE & FEAR. You may find yourself surrounded by fear-mongers, and feel tempted (to choose) to join in the fear (which then turns into righteous indignation, anger and hate), or you can choose to have love and compassion for these (sick and suffering) individuals.
It is through crisis and conflict that we discover who (and what) we truly are, the true quality of our consciousness, and our true INTENT
It is not the conflict that matters so much as how we RESPOND to the conflict
