I've just watched the lecture from the LSE here in London and it seems to beautifully answer so many of the questions that aren't asked elsewhere. I now have to wait a week for the books to arrive, the secret teachings of all ages (Manly P. Hall) will be going back on the shelf, perhaps for good once this arrives!

How have other people found the books? As an engineer in particular IT I found the description of the digital universe and consciousness perfectly matched today's world, I understand it's always been like that. But to have ancient scriptures rewritten in my English without all the fluffy codes, hermatisicm, kabala or whatever has been used to hide the simple truth is truly a pleasure to behold.

My thanks to you Dr Campbell and everyone that helps you spread this incredibly fresh take on the ancient knowledge to a wider audience.

Oh, how I found MBT was a normal everyday Google search for "Theory of Everything" somewhere around 2003 when I bought the books. I didn't read them until after I saw The London Lecture on YouTube in August 2008 though (The MBT site emailed me about the lecture being online since I was on their mailing list from having bought the books there).

As an engineer I suspect you will have an easier time than I had. My education is business management so the first book was particularly hard for me. But well worth the effort. This discussion board is priceless.

Welcome fellow engineer. I can translate back and forth from ancient writings, at least some anyway, to Tom Campbell's model of reality. Where the Buddha used words which we translate as Illusion for the reality we experience, we say Virtual Reality and can explain, at least in general if not display actual 'code', how that illusion can be generated and why it is so. They simply did not have the science and technology. I suspect you will find a great deal 'click' into place.

It's going to take a week for the books to arrive, and I'm just a little keen to start on them. For many years I've felt that the quantum particle/wave duality issue must be the most important concept in the world. but how to extropolate the individual to the group always escaped me. The lecture just seemed to bring it all together so well, and has wrung true for so many here too.

Let the adventure begin!
