I posted this to Workshops, but it has a place here as well.....
The workshops we organize for Tom have not to this date been to big sell-out crowds, but we are always humbled by the
readers, friends, fans, and people who have newly discovered Tom's work and are willing to travel great distances to see him
in person. Starving grad students, Med students, serious explorers of consciousness, film makers, physicians, physicists, psychics, and healers are coming to the California workshops.

The furthest away traveler is coming from Kuala Lumpur to the Campbell workshop. A booking just came in from Virginia.

It is very rewarding to us to see people who recognize Tom and his work for the wonderful contribution to the positive evolution of this planet that it is.

With Tom's encouragement, my friend Judy and I did some spirit rescue work for those in Haiti. It's a wonderful thing.
I never forget for one minute what a difference Tom and his MBT has meant to my life, and how it has the potential to change this world.

Donna

I think they come because like Tom says,"the truth is not fragile".Something in me knew that MBT was the truth as well as a PMR based IUOC could explain it to others in the same situation.

Through my concentrated intent I did all, "even begged" to be a part of the spirit retrieval work in Haiti......it just didn't happen for me....That kind of work is really what I would like to do but so far has not been on my path. I hope it will be.

Could we perhaps bother you for an ancedote of your experience?I would love to hear it.

Most of the correspondence on this board has very little to do with the experiences that I go through....Could you share how the spirit rescue work is done?

Hi Simba,
What makes you sound so sure that your Intent had no effect, there's no way in the world you can be sure that you wanting to help, that you sending waves of loving thought towards those in this event had no effect. I think you are having an effect even as we speak, personally.
Love
Bette

Bette, It is quite possible that I have the wrong idea of what helping is or was because nothing has been how I have imagined it so far.Tom once talked about witnessing souls transitioning and then being asked to help(nobody just stands around too long doing nothing).I would like to learn those ropes and then help out if I could, it could be that I'm just not there spiritually yet in any helpful capacity.I can accept that, but if anyone has any advice on how to "get there" it would be of help to me.

Simba-
Tom would be best to answer this, but I'll tell you what I have found:
Sometimes these situations came to me out of the blue, other times I set a strong intent to help whomever needed it, but it does not always come to you right away, it might be a week or more later. Sometimes there isn't much you have to do or say, just your presence guides spirits on, other times such as in war, or the situation in Haiti, where souls are stunned, it takes some telepathic communication to help them, and then there is the situation where the spirit's beliefs, fears keeps them locked in darkness and there is not much you can do, their free will rules.
In the experiment with Haiti, my friend Judy (who is much more adept at traveling than I) and I decided to meet
at a designated area and travel out from there. Once we connected, we walked through a door (her interpretation),
and we were on the streets of Haiti. We were perceived as light, and this alone was enough for some, others resisted.
Generally you communicate to them to follow the light,or suggest that someone is waiting for them, that they can move on
from this dimension, things like that. One clear memory on this trip was a little boy.
All, as Tom has said, is intent. I had a very strong interest in this form of exploring the larger reality, so that may have helped. Just keep focusing your intent and I'm sure it will work since your desire here is very strong.
I think this work helps the energetic environment here and helps souls move on, good things.

Bette is quite right, we always affect someone with our intent.

Simba,

As I recall, at least one of the explorer tapes has some examples of that process.

Here is a direct link to one of them:

What a loving, kind, patient, caring, gentle man that Bob Monroe must have been. I can only imagine the energy he gave off. What must it have been like, to be near him, I wonder? Look at what incredible books have been produced, just from people who were close to him at any point in time! What amazing work has been generated, that he sparked? Where would this world be right now, had it not been for that amazing man? I shudder to think...

Why was he in such a godforsaken hurry to go away and leave us all, I wonder? Boredom?

I second all you say about Bob Monroe, Lynda. As to your question why did he leave us when he did - it seems he actually stayed longer than he really wanted to. As a TMI sustaining member back in the 80s/90s, I received all their quarterly newsletters (and the free quarterly tapes, too!), and Bob often wrote the lead articles. Much insight is also in Ronald Russell's biography. RAM badly missed his wife Nancy after she passed away, despite meeting her often in F27, and worried she may progress away from him before he joined her. In one particularly revealing newsletter piece, he asked himself the question - "Why do I stay here?", and answered it himself - "The beauty of Earth life" - and went on to describe Earth's many natural beauties.

The hemi-sync tapes/CDs voiced by Bob himself are still the best, in my opinion - the essence of the man flows through it.

Arthur

Yes I love Robert, Bob, his voice and essence. I listened to an explorers tape yesterday, soothing.

Definitely agree with the comments about RAM. Although he was nearly 80 when he departed PMR. That seems like a good long life in spite of having several health problems and some major (and painful) surgeries along the way. He was deeply troubled by the loss of his wife, Nancy, and his description in Ultimate Journey of meeting her in F27 and how deeply he longed for that presence is nearly heart-breaking. He had to purposely distance himself from it to maintain any desire to stay in PMR. It's very touching.
The hemi-sync tapes with his voice are vasatly superior in my opinion too. His voice is often described as hypnotic and soothing. I would have to agree.
