Not so, specially with the kind of competition you see here (not that I am competing), it may be also some other law of attraction playing on (or some tests from CS :)

Clau,

An old memory of mine for you,

Back when the Mariel boatlift occurred I was an Air Force troop who had to put in 2 weeks at the camp at Eglin AFB in which the Marielito's were getting temporary housing.

At this point the place was about a month from closing and the individuals still there were the ones that apparently had difficulties getting sponsors allowing them to relocate. As we did our security walks inside the fence line, it was common to see guys in various states of undress wearing woman's panties and bras, completely made up in makeup. One could also see the dozens of pinup pictures of the top fashion models of the day plastering the inside of the tents where the bunking was.

On one particular security walk there was three of us. One of the other two was a fellow from Tennessee. He was about 6'2 or so and barrel chested. I'd even say he was good-looking.

At one point someone leaned out of a tent, and gave a wolf-whistle which then drew the attention of his tent-mates to see what was up. Then the whooping and hollering started up. I started laughing and continued walking. But the guy from Ten. headed off for confrontation toward the whistler, cussing up a blue streak the whole way. Me and the third troop had to grab him and forcibly push him along while trying to logically convince him of why his behavior was a bad idea. He was sincerely and deeply upset.

Eventually, we put some space between the whistler tent and the event was in the past.

So, good luck, in fending off the unwanted admirers. :-)

Wow RBM, good job to hold that guy. I don't get much of that lately cause I moved out of Miami Beach to Miami 3 years ago. But you remind me something that happened to me when I was doing my mandatory military service in Argentina. You know they like uniforms, plenty of fish there (:). I used to travel every weekend out of the boring city where I had to do my 14 months in the Argentina's equivalent of Navy. I did it as an officer because I got my B.S. in Aeronautical Eng. degree first. Once I got a window seat in a bus back to the city where I was based. I usually get aisle seats, but I guess that time I got the ticket late or something. It happened that I got a guy next to me, and at the beginning the talk was OK, but later on I figured he was gay and wanted to kinda be friends. I stopped talking and since it was like a 5-6 hours trip at night we went to sleep. He was sleeping with the left arm high and then lowering it towards my head. The first time I didn't do anything (I thought may be it was uncertain ... haha dealing with uncertainty). Second time he happened to get his elbow pressing my right shoulder. Second press I felt an instinctively future probability loveless ego driven intent that propelled an elbow shot from me landing in a few of his left ribs. I never felt anything nor a word from him after that. This was my second elbow shot to a gay guy. First one was in a movie theater in Argentina. It was a boring day and went to see some fake bruce lee martial arts cheap movies (3 for the price of one). Theater was pretty empty. I went alone and got into one lonely seat in the middle, like an island. A guy shows up and from all available seats chooses one next to me on my left. He starts touching my left knee. Inspired by the movies and as an auto defense mechanism my striking left elbow impacted big part of his body. He moved a few rows back.

Claudio

May be this one?

Hamlet:
Madam, how like you this play?

Queen:
The lady protests too much, methinks.

Ah, the dilemma. Look too good and attract unwanted attention. Look like rough trade and attract unwanted attention. Neither a problem I remember ever having. But why a sharp elbow jab to the ribs or elsewhere or worse? Does not a simple "no thank you" or "not for me, thanks" work? To say nothing of what would Tom do or say, or the popular saying for a while, what would Jesus do. I have known some homosexual men, probably including more I did not know about, but never remember any such problems requiring violence. Low entropy and higher Quality of Consciousness anyone? The same goes for bad reactions to women who prefer other women. Neither should be felt as a challenge to who you are. If taken that way, it is a direct indication of internal entropy level and ego.

Ted

The 2 incidents happened in 1980 (movie theater) and 1986 and I was dressed very casual. The effect of both was successful for CS to give lessons for some beings to learn to respect others. By the way I wasn't measuring my target points of strikes but describing the effect of the landings. My QoC changed a lot since those times and I don't think I would react the same way but rather talk to them first. I can say though that elbow strikes can work better than a thousand words :)
Ted do you think a woman when about to be raped should think what Jesus would do or rather kick him on the nuts? She can always talk later in the police station.

OK Bette, you are then in the list of available and vulnerable, for those interested in showing love to others.

(amplified extracts from Hamlet)

King:
Have you heard the argument? Is there no offence in’t?

Hamlet:
No, no! They do but jest, poison in jest; no offence i’ the
world.

Choir:
This doth appear most strong for jest.
Poison from a troubled breast.
Ah! Would that this were just a play!
And such cruel attention fade away......

Hi Claudio.
Excuse me, but with all my respect, I must infer that, there in the cinema, did you react as you say because you felt as a woman when about to be raped?

Regards, Carlos.
