DB,

Check out the links from this thread: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=3572

This will give you a background on what is meant by a virtual reality here and how they work. This conversation will then be more fruitful.

Where your intent is focused seems physical, so yes PMR and NPMR will be different if you are only focusing intent into one frame rather than parallel. Where your consciousness is focused seems physical and the other seems nonphysical, if you are able to parallel process it seems that then they could seem the same at the same time then, it seems.

I'm sorry you are having sinus pain, it must make thinking outside of this frame harder right now. Can you meditate away from this frame?
Love
Bette

dbmathis,
I hail from the UK. I have a whole mouthful of amalgam fillings, but seem to be OK, as do (an estimated) 20 million other Brits (unless, of course, you've previously wondered what makes us such lunatics!) .

I've heard that some don't have the gene to deal with heavy metals. Most must have it, though.

I am glad that you are doing fine with your fillings. What I had to deal with was terrible and I hope nobody else has to go through that.

Nice to meet you vzam

Now that my fever is gone and I have read over this entire thread again I can see what you all were saying, which is that you think that I was parallel processing both PMR and NPMR at the same time. This is what I was looking for and to me it basically means that dreams are both physical and non-physical in nature, which was my assumption. This however is only an assumption as I see only one possible way to actually prove it.

The headache started in PMR and overlapped the NPMR dream state or so it seems. The only way to really know this with certainty would be to bring the migraine back again, while in a dream, and then kill my physical body during the dream. If the migraine disappears then I know the source was my physical body. :). If however the migraine aura remained after killing my body, then I would conclude that my consciousness had been poisoned.

I will not be trying this experiment.

Dbmathis:

Don't try that please! I like you. PMR and NPMR don't have to be an either or. It is like you are an arabian, and at any time you have two wives, you can pay attention to one at a time, but also you can be with both at the same time. Also, at some point you may not be sure if you were kissing one or the other one. Disclaimer: Sorry if any arabian got offended.
