If we are all consciousness and, therefore, unable to know what is outside the larger consciousness system, what created it and how it may be destroyed, how can we overcome the fear that some of us may have in this physical reality that the LCS can cease to exist and we, as part of that LCS, would also cease to exist (or “die”) as a result of that. Can our "higher self" experience this type of fear, or is it something that we would only experience in this physical reality?

If we ceased to exist, we would not be aware of it. Why fear something we cannot experience? We might as well fear everything we consider to be impossible, of which there are an infinite number.

We are evolving as so not to die, death is a PMR fear that we all i think experience from time to time. NDE`S and consciousness explores of TLC system seem to be at an advantage in knowing death does not happen, as we think it can in PMR. That is not to say that our entropy can not get so high that our awareness diminishes to a virtually non existent state. or possibly deleted altogether as to start over with a clean slate. This potential we know as consciousness that creates all of the VR`s in our system, seems to be very very far ahead of the game. and i am of the school of thought that once a natural complex modifying system gets to a certain point, that devolving is no longer a option, or in the picture, nature has eliminated that threat, at a being level. This brings me back to us as IUOC as being one of the processes that the LCS has come up with, to ensure it never ending evolution. We i think as IUOC are a work in progress to ensure this systems immortality. Sabby

I'd agree with BNG on this one, and from watching Tom's videos on his twcjr44 youtube site you'll hear him say repeatedly that the lcs is a finite system, because it is real. (So one might logically think it could therefore 'end') But he has said many times that as an 'evolving digital information system' it may just re-organize or reuse the least successful or useful bits and keep on computing.. I like that idea and it fits into the computational model of the universe. I heard this somewhere before looking into the akashic records: 'everything comes to an end, but nothing is lost..'
Wouldn't worry about the computer crashing, it flows elegantly.

BNG, I fear that you may be right. Oh, did I say that out loud?!?
