I have run across mention of quantum trapping a couple times in my reading escapades but could not picture it. The animation in the video addressed that.

Nothing to do with HVAC. The closest I came to anything like that was as an undergrad in an invitational honors undergraduate research program I designed, built and tested a remote reading level sensing device for liquid nitrogen to help in some grad students research. I presume that he used it as it worked fine. That helped get me into grad school. Probably got someone other than me a published paper too as it worked better than what was in the literature.
