Peter,

You are welcome. No need to apologize for laziness. I particularly remembered the thread because I had participated in it and because it was a question I had been wanting to ask for quite a while too. I did have to use the search function to find that specific thread. It does come in quite handy.

Peter,

There is some information about Thor in Tom's posts here:

http://www.my-big-toe.com/forums/viewto ... 98&start=0

Page 2 is where Thor is mentioned. The whole thread is pretty interesting though.

Tried visiting this thread about "Thor"- and it wasn't available. :(

Any way to get it back?

Cole

Ubik,
Thanks so much for the posting. I have been looking for these taped sessions for a long time. I knew that they existed out there but haven't had much luck finding any. I haven't had time to listen to the whole thing yet but what I heard sounds interesting. This sort of thing seems like it would be important to not let it disappear. Thanks!!!

Hello,
I haven't finished reading this thread yet. The Monroe Institute website has 24 or so explorer tapes available for free to listen to at will. Is it ok for me to post this link here? If not please remove it: http://www.monroeinstitute.org/download ... er-series/

Look at the post just about yours :)

I have listened to about half of them by now, they are great, great source of rare information.

Ok, sorry about that. I can see you all now know about the link. I just wanted to get it out there but couldn't devote the time to poring through all five pages to see if anyone had posted it.

I started listening to these a couple of weeks ago and I just cannot get over the value and quality of information, however I realize the tapes were made a long time ago and therefore the sound quality cannot be expected to be perfectly clear. They can be somewhat hard to listen to but if you can stand it, I think it's totally worth it!

Also correction, there seem to be 32 tapes in total, not 24 as I had previously stated.

The search function is useful for this, you can even search only within certain threads. That said, I like redundancy, and notice it fractally.

Does anyone else feel themselves drifting off into trance listening to those things?

They are fascinating for sure. In a way I wish there were more but in a way I'm almost glad that there're not... there is a sponginess to consciousness after listening to them that feels clingy, or as though there was one of those old earhorns with the narrow end in the center of my brain and the wide end out there in the swirling blackness of focus 12.

Kind of makes a person glad to have a physical body to come back to afterall.

Me too! Especially of Tom.

I'm not getting that but it's early yet, we'll see.

I'm with you there! Love to have a body!

I listened to number 7 today at work and realized it needed listening to again, especially when Bob came on at the end and said they had to listen to it a few times, so that's what I'm doing tonight. Fascinating!

Hello, I was randomly passing and thought I might share this link. It's tapes 1-24 straight from the Institute itself :-)

Who was that masked single-poster, and what could have motivated him to stop by and make that one post?? That seems so funny to me!

Edit: Rest in Peace, ROMC

Edit #2: I love this one with Tom: http://www.monroeinstitute.org/download ... -series-3/
