Having had it mentioned recently how there aren't many people posting over here in this how MBT affected me thread I've been contemplating being able to post something solid here. Thing is that as far as my outward life there haven't been any big changes, just subtle things like who lives here that the changing of who lives here was growth for all, or most involved. The system played hell doing so in creating the situation that would allow me to have my daughter move out, as it was a major motion picture (something requiring much effort). The dog was the kicker, for sure.

Directly after I read MBT in Sept. 2008, or possibly while reading it my then professor who happens to be my current thesis adviser said in class that all of a sudden I was a better student as far as the quality of my participation (what I was writing), so there is that.

Today though I realized that I am finding it hard to lie to myself. I'm not falling for my shit anymore or something. That seems important enough to post about, finally.

You are welcome. One thing, of so many, that I enjoy about this place is the idea that we can go back in time to reread what we wrote. I think it is a big asset, to have some "record" of our development in reality biggerering. I love this place, and all you people. :)

I haven't felt right saying how it's affected me because I, too am still savoring Book 1. Yes I confess I did jump ahead and started Book 3 concurrently, and ok I admit I've bounced around a lot within the Google version just doing keyword searches and going off on tangents, and unabashedly I've devoured every video, promo, radio interview and of course the London Lecture over and over again, but it's still too soon to tell.

It's been a really delightful three months and so far I can say one thing for certain:

I smile a whole lot more these days.
