Hi Toeheads, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts!

I was thinking after I did that NPMR Resources thread, that we have some good material in this board that we can use to promote MTB and this board.

We don't have to go for complicated stuff.

These are some of our weapons, I should say assets (this is no war):

Video: Edge, Martin and others are good at creating videos and promoting in Facebook and other places. Edge just did some great work in a video of entropy/consciousness.

YAD already is finishing an ebook.

Workshop slides have great material (as SS found and sent a link here recently).

We can use some of the material in this board (mainly some posts by Tom) to include in videos or some short ebooklets with urls to send people to http://www.mybigtoe.com and this board.

We have also great Tom quotes (well Martin did something with that already).

Tom is very busy to start another big book (I guess). With Tom's authorization we can use some of the material in this board to create a downsided MBT part II.

Well, I leave other toeheads to give other suggestions ... I see a Montana ... coming ... and other toeheads ....

I would personally love a small hand-out like the one that was in the Campbell, CA packet concerning the Hawaii workshop, or even a business card. Something with the "elevator explanation" of what MBT is about, and where to find out more. They could even be distributed at events young people go to adjust their reality to show them a different way, a natural way. I would purchase these. Good ideas Clau, you're a go getter.

Thank you Clau. I think there should be several designs in each batch, with different specific quotes, but the same general contact info. That way someone coming upon MBT can still have a personal meaning built on which specific mini-flier they ended up coming into contact with. I think there needs to be that synchronicity random seeming aspect which cannot be manufactured, but can be facilitated with no harm (manipulation, I've been making it a point to NOT "preach" MBT), in my opinion. What do you think?

Hi Bette: Honestly, I didn't quite understand what you said. Are you saying to try different contents to see which one is more effective? If that, I agree. I didn't get that manipulation thoughts. No fear sent, omsers will try to satisfy their curiosity. Let free will, free will.

Would it be a good time to start the MBT wiki? You've got a start on Sleep ( viewtopic.php?f=20&t=4894 ) so why not put that into wiki form?

Late one night I emailed the Oprah site lol told them that they had to get onto MBT - in fact I begged them. Even if Oprah just got Tom onto her radio program - that would reach so many people ! The other night I told a friend she had to get MBT - I had been telling her about it for a year - she ordered it that night ! Another friend of mine is reading MBT and she is getting it. Slowly slowly that seems the way things go.
The other day I was thinking it would be great if Tom could get down here to give a talk. Yep been thinking that might start the ball rolling in this hemisphere !

That's awesome that you contacted the Oprah site! I almost did the same a while back but hesitated for some reason. I told Keith and Donna last year that it would be awesome if Tom could do something with Oprah as almost everything she touches turns to gold. I wonder if a lot of us did the same as you if that would spark something. She's interested in this kind of thing for sure so why not?

What do you guys think? Keith, Donna, Gerik: What are your opinions?

Good idea. Maybe if several of us write in there (To Oprah), she'll realize something beautiful is a brewing in regards to MBT and Tom. That would definitely put Tom on the map... This place would probably be flooded within 24 hours. Haha... A total game changer, that would be.

The Conscious Media Network interview was superb and it doesn't get much more polished and professional in appearance than that. Of course, it's not ours in the sense that we don't have the rights to it. It would definitely make a great introduction to those that don't know of him. I think the more recent videos of London II, Toronto, and California will be superior to London I if and when they become available.

Well turning MBT into gold would be down grading it some, but yes, she does have that positive effect on public opinion. Does that mean there would be an "Uncle Tom" TV program, perhaps a meditation hour? ;)

I also have some reservations about it getting too big too fast. It seems to find its way into the hands of those that need it. I guess a better question would be does Tom want that kind of attention? Is that truly best for his mission? Book sales would never be a problem again, that's for sure. Still, it's too important to turn it into the latest fad, or flavor of the month, so to speak. Certainly, this discussion board would undergo a radical transformation. As it's his baby, Tom would have to make the ultimate decision in the direction to take but the opportunity to make the choice would be nice.
