Good to hear these two "voice to voice"; by their own assessment - on the same page, but with slightly different perspectives and details. The MBT version still rings truer for me, though.

Yes, it is a neat interview. Tom's model is bigger (more inclusive) is all, I would say, rather than truer, right?

Yes, similar when you come down to it but I do think Tom has a more comprehensive view in that he describes trees but from the forest viewpoint down whereas Anthony is doing great work but is working from the trees up and getting a partial view of the forest. If that makes any sense at all! I appreciate Anthony's work too and think he's doing a great job.

Another great interview. I respect Antony's humility. At a few points he noted that his model was perhaps not as complete as Tom's (something like that anyway). With such a humble attitude and approach, it would seem that great things will certainly happen with his model.

This was a great lesson to hear two low entropy beings discuss differences.

its not so much that one is better than another, it may be (for me) the fact that tom is actually a scientist and physicist, and the material is very technical he presents the model so well.


by the way, there is another physicist that seems to support toms BIG TOE, his name is john hagelin, and he also has some fascinating theories on consciousness. check him out on youtube

He's mentioned twice previously on this board according to my recent search.

He initially came into my view through the movie, 'What the Bleep...'. I have only watched a couple clips of him speaking and he does seem to be compatible with the MBT model.

Hagelin presents his (very spiritual) theories in a very scientific way. His credentials appear to be impressive. And his theories are compatible with Tom's "BIG TOE " as well as my own "big toe", and besides, I really like the guy, lol
