Yeah I know, the system is evolving and one of it's strategies is to be able to multiply itself.

But,

there are beings, or people, kind of abusing it: porno (?)

Fear is desires, wants, needs etc. Sex is something we want, something we tend to need and it feels like a desire.
Are more evolving beings not having desires of sex?

How does all this fit in to the big picture?

In a non physical reality, a version of NPMR, where there is no physicality there is no hardware nor any hormones to drive the hardware. Thus you do not have sex as we have it in PMRs. That is not to say that there are not intimacies between beings in NPMR nor that 'visitors' from PMRs can't engage in something sort of like sex in NPMR with a willing partner. In NPMR, lesser and more advanced does not enter into the question any more than it does here in PMR.

There is not much to say under these conditions. As IUOCs existing within a digital consciousness system communicating with each other over the RWW, there is no sex as such. But it is still the 'thought' that counts.

Every human being, with few exceptions, do have gonads, sex organs and hormones that drive the action. It is part of the VR rule set. As they produce less hormones later in life, the sex drive greatly diminishes and eventually goes away entirely. That is why we have sex in this VR and why for all species. Basically the same as my earlier answer in reverse.

Sex is in itself neither good or bad for personal evolution. Only at the perspective of sex enabling the continued use of this PMR as a species, and thus in a very indirect way it's good.

It's all about the intent behind the physical expression, in this case sex. Is it an expression of love or ego (fear)? It can even be an expression of malice in more extreme situations..

The same principle applies to everything else as physical expressions, intent is key.

I think we've got enough humans that we don't now need to all feel compelled to pair up and produce more.

I'd say the bible said something like go forth and procreate and have dominion over the earth, and silly humans took that to mean each and every one of them.

Not every human would make a good parent, and if overpopulation is "a key factor" of extinction (http://www.biologicaldiversity.org/camp ... index.html), maybe we'd better start thinking twice.

In my opinion it's pleasurable, and having a human physical body here on earth allows us to indulge in it.

Pretty cool rule set that creates human sex. Imagine all of the other rule sets and alien sex possibilities :). My advice is to enjoy it while you have the chance, and if you exist in some other reality that has something equivalent to sex, enjoy it there too.

I know I came to Earth for many reasons, and one was likely sex.

I believe I came here to become Love and experience Joy. Thankfully sex affords me the privilege of having (?) expressing (?) manifesting (?) evoking (?) conjuring (?) both.

Some do not do it as well. There is nothing wrong with either. From reading Robert Monroe's books it would appear that as our consciousness evolves in this PMR we gather many types of experiences. Many experience packets (life times). Monroe explained this reality was like a drug that we get hooked on. Eventually we out grow this PMR and what it has to offer. If you enjoy your classroom you tend to get more out of the experience, factor in sex!

It must be very helpful for our growth to have such an experience as sex. I am interested in many things, including sex but don't choose to have this experience this time around. It is not to say that I would never, but other things are more interesting. This is such an amazing place!

Yes! Consciousness leads and the body follows, or: Intent is the key etc. And if a lot of fear is in PMR then creatures tend to use sex in a fear-based way (?) - wich hooks them to it.
If we are pleassured of sex, then we tend to get hooked by it? Boxed into a corner of it? We stay where we tend to like it? But eventually it's a thing that one outgrows (?) - in some way.

I used to equate sex with love for reasons perfectly logical for me. It was my quest for love that made sex not a good thing because it was so fleeting, the "love" feeling which came out of it. I personally think sex is highly over rated, but that is because I don't care about it anymore. I know sex is not love, and I understand perfectly why I used to think that. That is plain old "sex", and has nothing to do with intimacy which has nothing to do with sex, but that I think people get confused about too. Intimacy is possible between people with no sexual relationship.

I agree with you Bette, that intimacy does not have to equate to sex. If the love is there it's a beautiful thing indeed, but not necessary. I am happy that people have so many ways to connect with each other.
