I know the book is available online, and I do own a physical copy, but I'm wondering if there is a pdf download floating around somewhere. I would like to have it on my e-reader but I can't find a version for download. Anyone?

Tom talked once about considering this possibility. I guess that he decided to do it. That might make it worth buying a Kindle to me if it will do enough other things besides act as a reader. I'll have to look into what all the Kindle can do.

I was looking for a free version but I guess 8 dollars isn't a big deal.

I believe that Amazon also has "Kindle Reader" software for the PC and other platforms -- for those who might want the electronic book, but don't want to buy a Kindle for $100+ .

I have not tried it myself.

It looks like each part is sold separately for $7.95 each. Do they offer the whole trilogy as a single download?

Both .epub and .mobi versions are available online. The .epub version is for ereaders such as Nook and Sony while the .mobi version is for Kindle and the free Kindle apps available here http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=sa_menu_karl3?ie=UTF8&docId=1000493771. An actual Kindle is not required. You can download/install the free Kindle apps on PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android devices, Blackberry, and Windows 7 phones.
