Isn't it strange that in in this forum there is no section called Love?

Isn't it strange that when you use the search function and you write the word Love it says: The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: love.

Oh and this thread is placed in the ego and fear section, Odd ain't it? Random maybe, huh?

So i decided to start a topic called Love because i remembered an event from my puberty years.

I used to have a friend who was into the love deal. He as an Individuated unit of consciousness (I hate that acronym, it sounds like a factory line product of a consciousness power plant) honestly tried to move towards it. I remember him proposing an author called Leo Buscaglia(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leo_Buscaglia). He even lend me a book of his and when i read it my eyes would often fill with tears. I realize that this forum revolves around the idea of becoming love but that comes off as very much theoretical. This man made me realize that it's different to talk about love and to practice love in your life.

I am in the process of reading his books again, because books do that to humans, they provide the stimuli to change us fundamentally. How will i absorb his message is up to my current growth and that is also a good indicator of how productively or not i have been spending my life here on the blue planet.

I will post some of his lectures in youtube video form and you better all watch it. I guarantee a lot of pleasant and unpleasant shocks that will shake the core of your being towards a vibration that will tend to unmask whatever artificial story you told yourself about how loving you are.

I only saw 6 parts but they were good. What a great speaker that makes time fly and I loved it. I think you chose this forum wisely as Love and Fear are opposite and what Leo is talking about is that outward arrow or vector of Intent (big "I") which in Tom's model is what defines Love pretty much. Fear being opposite of that then would be defining an inward arrow or vector of Intent. The only thing I did not hear him say that I wish I would have so that I could feel he knows it is that Fear is the opposite of Love rather than Hate being the opposite or counterpoint of love. Big L Love is all about other but a larger concept than any of the different kinds of love the Greeks defined or how most people think of it these days. It can be seen as a scale like a number line and this scale is a measure of the current level of Quality of Consciousness a bit of Consciousness has or even the entire Larger Consciousness System with the more Evolved the bit is the more towards Love and the further from Fear their bit would sit on this metaphorical scale number line tool.

How do you all feel about the statement, "Love is unconditional"? Back in my Bible reading days I recall there is a rather all encompassing definition of love written by, if memory serves me, a man named Paul. On the Earth that would require a lot of persistence on bumpy roads.

For example, a friend of mine gave me a shamanistic session for my departed mother. Our relationship was rocky strewn with victim/victimizer types of strategies poised against each other -- non-complementary. However, she, in her disembodied state (she followed my Tibetan Book of the Dead advice and did not go towards the light), after being initially annoyed being interrupted from her astral disco orgy (HA, my mom was such a virgin, go figure), I listened to her tell me the bitterness and woes of her earthly life (things only I knew), and she calmed down and became more herself.

She cried a bit and then she told me that I was the only person who ever loved her. This shocked me at first, but then, analytically, I realized this was true. She decided at the end of our talk that her current group was not where she wanted to be, and my Shaman helped her join up with another group of more sober, and spiritual guides. She had no interest whatsoever is getting back into human form, and I do not blame her at all. If she had gone towards the light that is exactly where she would have ended up, repackaged, and ready to play -- ad reductio.
