No, I am not lazy when it comes to reading LOL

I can't make up my mind if I want the one binder book with all three books or if I want them separate, and I can't find any specifications anywhere as how thick these are.I consider my books my precious babies so I would not want to end up with a book that is falling apart because it is too big and it doesn't handle well when opened for a period of time, but at the same time the one binder is less expensive and would probably be better to keep them all in one place.... hmmmm decisions decisions! :p

By the way I hope this is the right forum for this question.

MySgMyLuv,

This is the right forum -- "Wud I Say" is a catch all --a place for chit chat and less serious informal exchanges about peripheral subjects.

The all in one binding paperback is 2 inches thick and weighs 2.35 lbs. The hardback version is slightly bigger and heavier. All are of top quality construction and made to last for many readings. The single books are each about an inch thick and weigh about a pound each.

The individual hardback books are older first printing books (and for that reason, are on sale for just $10 bucks more for a trilogy set than a similar set of 3 paperbacks) while ALL the rest are newer second printing books. The second printing has about 170 fewer errors (mostly minor and not all that noticeable) and a few extra paragraphs of content that explain things a little better. Books from the first and second printing have the exact same page count in every chapter.

ok, thank you, I am going to get the one binder hardback with the trilogy.Might be heavier but I trust you that is not going to fall apart which is what I am most concern with.

Nelly,

You won't have a problem. The hardbacks are smythe sewn -- not just glued like most books. That process costs more but it conforms to what is called "library quality" -- books that should last through many reads and stand up under abuse. I think you will be pleased with the quality -- and you get all three in hardback at an average of $11.50 per book. Good choice.

yay! can't wait....

I have been glued to this site for the last couple days now... I don't understand how most people I interact don't search for the answers I am looking for.The issues that makes them sweat seem so easy from my point of view, I hope to find like minds here, I am tired of feeling I was born in the wrong planet.
One of my jokes usually is "my parents should have named me -oops wrong planet-" (LOL)
I also hope people have a twisted sense of humor here , if not just don't pay attention to me, I'll try to be as serious as I can though.

:)

Peter: I often think this also. Maybe it takes an event in someones life to open a 'Portal' where they search for a meaning. Funnily enough I was reflecting today how I viewed existence before diving through my Portal and to be honest I really didn't give searching too much thought or importance. Maybe the belief that apparently science dispelled religion and religion required a 'trust us' dogma stopped me ever bothering, life was too short... Now it is the most important search I have ever done and anybody could ever do IMO.
What's wrong with OS ? These VR PMR subsets of AUM ...I don't know... are they ever going to wake up and smell the coffee? ;-)

Whoa Nelly (omg, I've been dying to say that, sorry I'm sure you've heard it before) I am typing up a little list of acronyms from the books and will post it here shortly.

Love
Bette

Hi Nelly

These are from page 39 of the book three, although they
are texts (the books are) in my mind, and are the one's most used here as I am finding.

AUM-Absolute Unbounded Manifold
AUO-Absolute Unbounded Oneness
Big TOE-Big Picture Theory Of Everything
EBC-Even Bigger Computer
NPMR-Non Physical Material Reality
OOEB-out of body experience
OS-Our System
PMR-Physical Material Reality
RWW-Really Wide Web-I believe Ted is also expert in this web/net issue
TBC-The Big Computer
TOE-Theory Of Everything

Love
Bette

You are welcome Nelly.

ps. VR-virtual reality-that's what we are experiencing now in PMR. I've haven't had this much fun online in years with all these posts going back and forth like they are today. No wonder my homework is sitting here...

Very true Cherie, I guess I've assumed that was Tom W. Campbell, Jr. I'm not sure at this point if that is right or not.

Love
Bette
