Hallo All,

Wow! Never guessed there'd be so much interest in this tape, but they are obviously very hard or impossible to find anywhere now.

Ramon PM'd me after my posting asking if I might be able to copy the tape for him, which I have done and will be posting off to him very shortly. But neither of us has at the moment the facility to digitise and MP3 it. Presumably it just needs a tape player that can be USB'd into a PC and burnt onto a CD, which can then be copied into MP3 format - right? Ramon has set the ball rolling by his posting above, if anyone else has the facility to do it now-ish. Otherwise, hang fire, and no doubt one or other of us will find a man and his dog who can.

I'm still searching for the one or two other Explorer tapes which I know I also have (or had!) here somewhere. There's a lot of stuff collected here over the years, so it may take some time!!

Arthur

See if this is any help. It is basically what I thought of and then found with one quick search.

Arthur, going through your stuff sounds like fun for all the rediscoveries you get to make. Like a treasure hunt. That's how I felt going through a box of books not long ago.

Love
Bette

Hallo Bette,
Thanks for that link, I'll see if I can get adaptors etc, together to try to do that. I've got MusicMatch Juke box on the PC already, so once I've got a connection, should be able to make an MP3 file. I'm not a technophile, though, so don't anyone sit on the edge of their seats!

Going through stored stuff can be fun, when finding long-forgotten bits of interest, but can also be a pain when, having got all the stuff out from its place of rest, it's either got to be properly collated and filed etc (lowering its entropy! - the right thing to do, but....), or just thrown back where it came from (what I usually do - easy, but a cop-out!).

Hi All,

Glad to see the ball got rolling, thank you Arthur!
These recordings are of great interest to all of us
for all the obvious reasons.

Since Arthur's original post, I've made some
inquiries. Here's a list of what explorer
material was released and 10 mp3, non of
Tom but was promised one shortly. (not the same
one as Arthur's)

The one I posted earlier in this forum is # 32

Hi ubik,

Well done, that's a lot of material you've put up there, thank you.

I found a list of the Explorers online, and it seems Tom is on nos. 3, 12 and 16, (as well as my no 24) by the original TMI numbering.

As and when I or Ramon get an MP3 file from the no 24 tape, would it be a good idea for it to be emailed to you to put it up here in the same format as your others?

Best wishes to all for Xmas and New Year!

Arthur

Hi Arthur,

Glad to do it, you are welcome.

What I put up is 1,2,5,6,10,11,13,23,29,30 and 32 about a day prior.

Tom is also on 9 and that's the one I've been promised, minus about 30
seconds that have been erased by accident sometime in the 80's.
I am not quite ready to post my email on the Internet just yet. (:
Besides if you post it here then others will have access to it as well.
Looking forward to your 24 and thank you as well, especially for
bringing this to our attention.

Not sure how the pm function works, do we both have to be online for that?

Happy Holidays to all.

Ubik,

PM (personal message) is similar to email without you having to know the recipients email address -- you just have to log in to the forum to get your mail.

Ubik,

Thank you my friend. It amazes me that I couldn't find any for so long and you have found all of these. I can't thank you enough. I guess I am not a very good searcher. Or it just wasn't time.

Ramon

Hi Ramon,

You are most welcome, there was nothing on the net, I've looked. I got these through a network of friends.
So this has nothing to do with you searching abilities, I am sure they are fine.

Tom, thanks for the explanation on how to use (pm).

And here it is, explorer tape #9

Ubik, all

I just finished listening to #5 Introduction to Miranon. I can't begin to describe how cool it was to finally actually hear those words that I have read probably hundreds of times in Far Journeys. I think my brother said it right when he said these are a piece of history. Not only for the genesis of Far Journeys but of the process that led many of us here today. No doubt Tom would have fulfilled his mission in one form or another but perhaps in a different fashion. I guess Bob Monroe, Tom, Dennis, Rosalind McKnight, Shay St. John, and all of the others could have made a commitment to meet and carry out certain functions to help pave the way for the next phase of consciousness development on the Earth. I'm glad they did. So far I am really impressed and can understand how Bob and Tom and all of the early explorers could keep coming back night after night to work on this stuff. It really is fascinating. Thanks again for making these available.

Tom,

Miranon describes that he works with the Christ spirit since he is the leader of this fourth phase of development. Could this be equivalent to The Big Cheese? Without debating the historical accuracy of the current canon but some of the gnostic Gospels probably wouldn't argue with this view. Just curious.

I would just like to add that obviously, like Seth and Jane, the material we hear is Miranon as transmitted through SHE with possible influence from SHE's mind. The Christ references could be explained away here the same way it explained away SETH's reference. Miranon could have put the Christ name on the Big Cheese because it was a concept in SHE's mind that would be similar to what was meant by the term. I was just curious if The Big Cheese could be the entity in question.

Ramon,

It is wise of you to look beyond the literal words for the significance of the concepts that lie beneath the words. Interpretation is always personal, while the message may or may not have a broader significance. Each individual should take from any communication, whatever they can find in it that is useful to their personal growth. Absolutes in communication are reflections of ego.

Hallo All,

Just back after all the Xmas activity, now relaxing!

First, the good news - I'm surprised, but delighted to have managed, by jiggery-pokery, wings, prayers, more luck than judgement etc, to have got Explorer tape no 24 saved as an MP3 file!! Mostly such exercises by me end in failure or disaster, so I'm always elated when something works!

Now, the inevitable bad news - the file is almost 60MB in size, and I can only email to a maximum of 16MB. Perhaps there's a way to chop it up so I can send it in chunks - does anyone know how? I suppose the other way would be to burn it onto a CD and send it by snail-mail? You'll laugh, but my PC didn't come with a CD burner, only a player. This despite I paid £1100 for it seven years ago (it's also only got 10GB hard disk would you believe!!). So, if that's the only option, I need to collar someone that can burn it from my memory stick, which will take another day or two.

Still, these things are good techno-learning experiences for me!

Arthur
