Thanks Peter.

I understand you had something to do with letting Victor Zammit know that MBT existed. I really appreciate that. There are thousands of web sites out there that MBT is strongly relevant to -- what a great way to help spread an awareness of the larger reality system and a message of a love and personal responsibility based existence. The more people who see the big picture, however they come to see it, the better off everyone will be. Thanks again -- great work -- work by the way that only people like you can do. The author cannot be a credible promoter of his own work because he will gain personally from such a promotion. So I must sit on the sidelines and wait for the ball to get rolling by itself (which is where I would rather be). Letting others know that MBT exists and is pertinent to their lives and interests is solely in the hands of its readers. Because of your efforts, there are now about 20 more people in the world who are beginning a journey into developing enough understanding to generate their own big TOES -- a journey you have taken and found valuable enough to want to share. From many small streams mighty rivers are made. The internet is a huge untapped source of potential small streams -- but the trickles need awareness that MBT exists and is pertinent to their individual interests. You've hit the nail on the head and helped a lot of others to find something that may return significant value.

Tom C

That's a very interesting site, Peter, haven't seen it before - I add to Tom's thanks for posting it and getting MBT content on it. I particularly like the "Objections Overruled" feature rebutting the assertions of close-minded sceptics.

While on close-minded sceptics, Richard Dawkins here in the UK has lent his backing to an advertising campaign by the British Humanist Association, putting banners on 800 buses across England and Wales, and in the Underground system, with the words "God Probably Doesn't Exist, So Stop Worrying and Enjoy Your Lives". Apparently, the wording was originally to be more definite (without the "probably") but the poor old Advertising Standards Authority, caught in the crossfire between Dawkins et al, and various Christian groups, had to insist on the uncertainty being added! A mostly light-hearted controversial news-thread has been started on this one, but Dawkins can be quite irritating with his stridently militant approach.

On the other side of the fence, though, a couple of months ago I was baffled to see on one of those notice boards with large writing, outside of a local church "God Probably Exists, So Come On In and Enjoy Our Services". Hmmmmm......

I was watching Larry King Live on CNN the other night while he was talking about John Travolta's son dying with Deepak Chopra, and Chopra said, "religion is based on fear of death". That is the biggest thing coming out of MBT I think, for regular folk to get, that we don't die. Once people realize that something will change, I'm just not sure in what way.

Good job Peter!

Bette, Here's one of my favourite quotes:

Ubik,

Your right about Dawkins being irritating, has anyone even attempted to read his best seller "The God Delusion"?
I own the book and have attempted it but he dosent exactly like to word things for the layman or even for that matter the above average man. His vocab is vast and in all honesty thats what turned me off his book, its best read with a dictionary by your side =P

Another thing while im on it, its a good book if we were so damn sure that it was either Religion or Science who was to prevail in the never ending debate of "How, Why, Who", but once Tom's MBT gets thrown into the picture, all potential focus seems to be shifted towards other more "important" books =]

Thats not to say these other subjects arent important ;)

Dawkins is right about what he says re our PMR - spot on often - in fact many of his talks and explanations mirror TOE as far as PMR is concerned- he desribes it as though it is a 'VR' His arguments against 'god' are really rguments about and against entrenched belief systems and what god is perceived as. Where he different is that he has no explanation for the weird stuff, but admits it Nor has he probably ever experienced any of the wierd stuff some of us have. He has no 'Direct Experience and Knowledge' of any NPMR states and so as a logical scientific man / mind he is just thinking on and reflecting many obvious PMR truths. As Tom keeps saying its no point him telling us about NPMR states and what its like, we have got to experience them ourselves. I just think peopel like Richard Dawkins dont even maybe want to think or experience anything other than this PMR - for them its enough at this time in the development of their conciousness.

I have a book sitting in front of me that I have but haven't even tried to read, GOD, The Failed Hypothesis How Science Shows That God Does Not Exist, by Victor J Stenger. Dawkins comments on the back, "I learned an enormous amount from this splendid book." FYI I've read other Stenger books, and think I was in email communication with him for awhile, on my old computer :( (no record of his email). He lives in Florida as I recall.

There seems to be a simple enough solution to Dawkins ignorance of NPMR, if he is willing and able.

Here is a good NA acronym.

Honesty
Open-minded
Willingness

This is HOW "good" things happen, add information and you have MBT.

The Subset cant explain the Superset as we all know. 'We' cant even explain gravity, dark matter and energy etc , the majority forces inour own universe. How people can make pronouncments about NPMR states when we dont know or cannot explain fundamental concepts about our own subset yet- well TOE versed people excepted ha
I wonder why they are not open minded also? Its always a puzzle to me. I guess its partly because they feel they need to show other alternatives , mainly most organised religions as pseudo-knowledge , which they are. Just belief systems

Ever think we've just been spelling Ohm wrong, perhaps the natural meditative sound/vibration is pronounced (and spelled) AUM? Physics is a BS. Oh my gosh, am I in a better mood? :)
