Problem: Tinnitus and noise sensitivity, caused by the anti-depressant medication Citalopram. The ringing is pretty much a constant tone, and is the loudest in the right ear. The sensitivity manifests, sometimes, when prompted by sudden noises occuring in relative silence, as some kind of rapidly occuring instances of vibration by the ears.
Request: Restore the relevant, damaged cells, etc., to how they were prior to me starting the medication, so that the ringing and sensitivity will stop.

Problem: Sheila is a 33 yr old female who was diagnosed with liver and colon cancer last year. The cancer in the colon has been removed however the lesions on her liver remain. She recently had a chemo liver pump inserted in her body and has now become jaundiced and her Chemo has been put on hold. Her recent PET and CAT scans show that the cancer in the liver is still there, no shrinkage in lesions but no spread. The believe a duct might be clogged and are contemplating surgery. Her sleep has been poor, pain level very high 9-10 and has been "living off of pain pills (Oxycontin) to manage the pain. She is a wife, mother and works full time and has been struggling lately with her energy levels. She has been coming in to see me for Reiki and energy work and appears to get some relief after sessions. This diagnosis comes as a shock to her as there is no family hx, she was in good health before this and is young for this type of diagnosis.
Request: to hold the intention for healing to occur in her body, for the lesions to shrink, increased energy levels, encouragement to keep fighting and ultimately if it's in her highest good to become cancer free.

This is a complicated issue. Please don't get me wrong. I am not against these requests or the help. This is about what can be behind our pain, our help, our expectations and something else, that I am not able to put into words.

Several years ago my friend had a carpal tunnel surgery, at first one wrist was done, and later another one. After that for about a year my friend had a pain in a hip joint. She came to a point, that walking had became a real problem. She went to see several doctors, but they were unable to provide any reasonable treatment or relieve. My friend asked me to send her Reiki, and I did. She started to feel a little bit better, but around Christmas time she had tripped on her stairway and broke her wrist.

We all wish to see those who we love to be happy and healthy. Is it always possible? I am afraid that unreasonable expectations may work against us, and an illness can disappear only to manifest itself with a new strength in another place. When we ask too much how can it affect a possible outcome? How reasonable should we be with our requests?

I cannot explain it better, but I've learned, that you can try to help somebody and do your best, but if they don't want to accept your help, nothing can be done. Just let it go and be with them as patiently as you can. This is a lesson and each of us has to learn his/her own part.

A few words on the status of these requests...

When someone puts in a request here and sees no text response to that request, it shouldn't be taken as being ignored or dismissed. There are several dynamics operating.

Any particular potential responder has to fathom whether s/he is usefully up to the challenge, for starters, given their own background, understanding, and current state of being.

Each circumstance is also uniquely different: And even though they can be broadly classified from the outside, when you enter 'inside' the circumstance that wants remedy, each is so different that, to metaphorize, it is like entering a radically new space which has its own geometry... things are configured radically differently from space to space. Further, properly one has to discriminate among conditions which are present and helpful to the learning or growth process that is attempting to manifest: Are various negative conditions helpful to the process, or counter-productive? For instance, if Maggie is in relationship crisis with someone close, trying to clear the area of negative thought-forms will be only a temporary remedy... it might allow Maggie and the others involved to catch their breath and get a little perspective, but the initial conditions that brought about the current problem remain, so that it will re-manifest shortly. But if she also now has got the flu, that may be more in the way than helpful, and one can advocate for alleviation of that circumstance. Or a person may be facing a challenge and not have sufficient energy to deal with it effectively, so that 'sending the person some energy' would be appropriate; but in many cases, 'sending some energy' is contra-indicated in that the problem has its source in the mis-application of resources to begin with, so that sending more energy adds to the problem. Other problems are simply beyond the would-be helper's ken: no more fathomable than the meanings and nuances of an electrical diagram would be to someone who has at most a weak understanding of volts, amps and ohms, and that's it.

Further, when a would-be responder sees a way, and decides to engage, for a suite of reasons s/he automatically feels inclined to say nothing about it. IT feels presumptuous, for one thing, to imply that one's skills are up to the task. Even if one is up to it, the optimal result and the desired result may not at all be the same. More, if person A says he will work on it, person B, who may be more effective in this case, may then passover the matter.

and on and on... the take away message here being that, if you see no response to your request, please don't take it as an indication that your request is ignored or dismissed. The the primary spur for this (long overdue, I have to concede) post is that sometimes, the requester's anxiety about the seeming lack of response is approximately tangible.

You want confirmation, I understand that, but PMR is PMR and worse, text and bulletin boards are just that. One thing you can do though, is to slip into NPMR sensing, and ask for in-sight about the matter, ask to join in with whatever party of assistance is operating, and share consciousness with that 'group', and maybe you will get some hands-on experience yourself.

Separately, Lena, Ya, Japan. Mt perception is that who ever is handling these mass die-off events is getting slicker with it all the time. It's not that everything is perfect, but I am not sensing anything like the amount of angst, fear, and anxiety that I might expect. In one case, I got the impression that whole groups of dis-oriented newly dead got a (NVC) message that "There was a problem, but that is over... there is to be a formal tea soon... you must get dressed in your most very respectful best, and meet up at the light right over there...". Even among the living and distressed, the quality of the distress is not nearly as sharp edged and shrieky as it was in Haiti. But that is just my perception, I always have to say. My confidence in it is even less than my confidence in my PMR perception, which often proves to be just so-so.

From my observation. I can feel energy flow, and if you can too, energy is rushing very fast and its flow is very strong, when you start to send healing energy to people of Japan. At this point it is not important to me, that energy and PMR is only virtual.

"The Mind Body Prescription" by Dr John Sarno.
I want to mention this book as it may help someone suffering with chronic pain.
I don't know if any members here have read this book or know anything of Dr. Sarno's work, but four years ago when I was suffering with chronic back pain I stumbled upon this book, and reading it was the start of my recovery. It was also the first step towards me realising that life and reality are not what I had previously thought them to be. Since then I have been on a path of learning which has eventually lead me to MBT.
I hope this may help someone as it has helped me.

Here is a digital model for doing healing.

(As all, it is 'just another model' .... but it may feel handy to those accustomed to modeling digitally. At bottom clarity and intent are the main things)

You can take any problem or issue that you want to heal and model it this way:

Set an image of the person, event, process to your left.
Reach in to the center of the image and grab 'the central spot'.
Pull it out and see a long, twisty, kinky black line come out.
Keep pulling it out and notice that as it comes out further, the person, event or process dissolves into the black line.
This long line represents, in digital form, the whole string of data that comprises the expression of that person/event/process's presence in the world.
It may feel like a very long line, however, you can shrink it down to managable size so that it feels easier to work with, and still have it retain its exact form and meaning. (You can do this either by shrinking the line or broadening your 'eye').

This string of data may feel inappropriately kinked, brittle, stiff, inflexible, have corrupted sequences, etc etc. Take as close a note as you think may be necessary.

Notice that there may be also other strings of data attaching from the outside that may or may not belong there.

Healing consists of taking something like a hand-held blow-dryer, which, instead of heat and dryness, flushes a lubricating force, to help with flexibility, stiffness, unraveling kinks. Instruct the radiation to also A) remove corrupt or disadvantageous data sequences B) Remove unhelpful data-string attachments and C) congeal the whole of the data line to optimal structure and function.

Instead of Radiation, you can also model your input as data streams or lines complete with instructions (".exe files") if that works better.

Finally, return the line and let the person/event/process recongeal back into shape.

PS: When doing healings or with any contact, always remember to close off the connection when you are through. (Simply declare at the end, with intent, "Connection Closed".)

All the specific issues here are okay but that's probably in part due to you All sending Love so I tend to be selfish and want to keep receiving Love for Arthur, Katie, Marley, and me. ;)

Arthur still has the tongue issues just used to it now I guess, Katie still has teeth issues (I may have not requested for this, can't remember), and I still have Hepatitis C but as I said it just "is there" and my liver function is okay. Marley's ears are almost cleared up and it took a visit to a vet which Katie's husband Adrian had to take care of because Katie was at work and I have no way to go anywhere (can't take a dog in a taxi). That was the lesson there, that dynamic between Katie and Adrian and him taking Marley to the vet and then them supposedly following through on the cleaning/medication schedule. Marley happens to not allow his ears to be cleaned unless he is at the vet so clearing it up is slow. Pets really are the first step before having kids when one does it the standard way which Katie is doing. Marley, Arthur, and I are able to go for walks together now which I think is something I asked for help with years ago...

Just a little update for my mother, the cancer has returned. She is scheduled for a PET scan next week, and will be meeting with a surgeon also. We don't know if the cancer has spread until after the scan, initial impressions are that this is not the case. We could use your continued support.

Update on Mossy dog:

Mossy is now stable on a low dose steroid. His problems haven't disappeared, he isn't as fit and able as he was a year ago, but he has recovered sufficiently to enjoy a good quality of life. We are very grateful to all who have contributed to his healing, thank you.

Ted, perhaps you could leave this update on for a little while as feedback, and then please remove the healing request.

Have an update on my friend Kevin. I am told things have been just "ok", with a lot of bad days. He just started a new experimental medication, hoping it will help his condition, it is too early to tell. Overall, it sounds like there hasn't been much improvement yet.
