You're a data miner too Lynda, perhaps more with it than me so that is a relief, thank you for being you. It's so funny when you stop to think about it, how feelings/emotions are attached to words. Lurker, compared to that "newbie" seems wonderful....;] The point that stuck in my craw was when I was deemed (by this platform, not MBT) as "normal", that is boring to me. Normal is a mathematical construct. I was like, yeah!, I'm not normal anymore, whew.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I have been lurking on this board a while as my plan was not to post anything until I had finished reading the mbt book so I could get a good understanding of Toms model before asking questions. However I have found listening to Tom lectures and listening to the radio shows that have been posted to be very convienient way of learning in my busy life.

I like the term newbie as it gives the forum user a good starting point as it indicates there level of participation on the board and the title will change if they wish to continue to participate more and offer more value.

Agreed. I know he says in the London lecture he can only skim over the top, but you can get a lot from listening to his interviews, and there's a lot of material out there for us to listen to.

I wish all of the links could be housed on the Good Stuff page of MBTEvents.com (or in the upcoming radio interviews thread) so they were conveniently accessible from one place.

I guess there must be space constraints? I think Virato used to be on the Good Stuff page and got dropped when Eldon Taylor got added. But I cannot say for certain.
