[quote="bette"]Hey ubik, what is the significance of of the tricoastal reference, is Tom planning on coming to LA? Thanks.

Austin is the third "coast" for making movies.

I see ubik, thank you. Being in the desert of California there are many movie making locations where I am, but no editing studios. You mention all the wires, is this an area (gathering this data) wireless can work, that you know of? There was a sound issue in the London lecture that sounds like the same thing of losing a portion of the sound, hm...;)

Thanks again.

Love
Bette

Hi
Has anyone else had problems opening the Austin slides? Using XP, I've tried Explorer and Firefox with Adobe Reader 7 and Acrobat 6. Every time, Reader or Acrobat 'encountered a problem' and exits. It makes no difference whether I'm logged in or not.

I found this for online viewing of PDF files

I just went to the www.MyBigTOE.com site with Internet Explorer and clicked on both links (Austin Friday evening lecture, and Austin all day Saturday workshop) and both sets of charts opened immediately without dificulty.

Hi Monty,

I had the same problem viewing the slides until I updated my Adobe Reader to the latest free version (8 I believe). That solved the problem straight away :-)

All the best,
LS

Thanks, Quantum. I passed on 'save link', because I'm too literal-minded to realize it means 'save linked file'.

I think Monty got it, I'm assuming Monty got it and has been able to open them. Nice power point presentation (PPP) Tom, interesting as always. Thank you Tom for all this information and your time, again and always.

Thank you too for the cool tool websites you know of Peter and share.

Love
Bette
