Hi Tom,

Have you considered releasing your trilogy as an ebook?
A way to reach more people, perhaps?
Especially if one is not based in the US, it would eliminate the shipping waiting time.

thanks for MBT and all your work :)

Munay Sonko,

Yes, I have considered it and do intend to do e-books and audio books one day. Its on my list and has been for some time. e-books will happen sooner because they are easier.

Hopefully it will be in a format so that the text is searchable... that would help tremendously.

Too bad you don't live near me... I'm just wrapping up an audio book that I've been recording for a good friend of mine and yes, it is a long process indeed but I enjoy it. I wouldn't charge you a cent either of course. ;)

Professional result? I am interested. Send me a PM with the details. Why would we need to be physically located?

Why indeed, when you could be Non-Physically Located? (Sorry - couldn't resist :) )

Seriously though, I have found audio books - especially non-fiction - to be effective for me because I am a slow reader. With non-fiction books, my mind either wanders or starts to ponder upon the subject matter and I get sidetracked for long periods. The audio format seems to demand my attention a little better. Also, I can listen while doing mindless household chores, etc.

By the way, is out of stock of MBT (the paperback all-in-one edition).

Could seriously use this right now. The search feature would be so handy. Need to get a third set (don't lend them out, especially the good hard copies!). Wouldn't mind doing the data entry, great way of reading/remembering. Maybe google books has it all on file, if there is a way to retrieve it.

What would it take to start this E-Book?

UInfortuneately, to begin, it would take a chunk of my time to research the e-book process and products. That is the first hurdle to get over. Then, if I find no barriers that I do not wish to cross, I would have to put together the necessary materials. It is mostly a matter of time.

I plan to start the audio book process in a few weeks -- it may take a long time to complete -- but steady progress will get us there.

The audio book is a great idea. I like them, they are good learning tools. In some situation, It's much easier to listen than to read... especially in bus or car ;-)

I'll surely buy those CDs or mp3.

I will preorder the audio book, probably more than one. Tom, have you heard of Amazon's new Kindle2 reader? I've been checking it out because if I could read and makes notes in PDF files I access it would save some trees and ink. The Kindle2 is inadvisable by some critics because you have to return it for a new one to change the battery, and try to recover all the books and magazines you have already purchased. It is one eBook platform on its second version, I'm still waiting for the technology to improve. I might pick-up a original version Kindle if the opportunity presents itself though. I'm glad to hear of the audio book creation, and will be glad to hear it too.
