Jack,
I'm not a scientist, I'm an engineer and although I completed a Ph. D. degree, I never actually worked officially at that level while Tom, who finished his stint in graduate school about the same time as I did, and for much the same reason, did not have the opportunity to complete the degree requirements, has actually worked at what I would consider a Ph. D. level in industry.

That would go a long way to explain Tom's un-phased reaction to my saying that I am an ill-educated mechanic from the suburbs, in reply to his question; 'What discipline have you studied?'

Jack i liked the interview and i could relate to most all of it with my direct experiences.
Thanks, I have had so much support and interest from this show that I am quite taken aback.
I also had the seizure disorder they call epilepsy, and i took meds for it for 25 years. I knew from the very start of having seizures that it could be controlled by intent.
I was always aware that I could stop a fit if I could anchor myself to this reality firmly enough.
The medical profession knows and cares very little about our ability to self heal with intent. You might say i did my own science on the power of intent, and i now have been of of dilantin for 5 years with the so called placebo effect. it works significantly better than the meds, with no side effects. It took me about 3 years of focusing my intent and backing myself of the meds to achieve this. (LET ME STATE I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE!).------- ---------------------------------------------------------This is only one of the things i have done with intent, i modify the future so much in so many positive ways that i now take it for granted.
This is why i find Tom's work so rewarding as it explains the subjective experience of plastic reality and gives us that manifest our intent a means of explaining our abilities without resorting to occultism or new age woo-woo.
Thank you and Tom both for this short sweet and to the point message. That positive intent you both had came through clearly, as a most helpful nudge. Sabby
Would you do me the great service of listening to a show I did on the subject of epilepsy to see if you strongly disagree with any of it or would add or subtract any particular detail. Please feel free to skype me; free-manjack or email;
