Brian, while trying to catch up on Tom's videos I came across this very interesting answer about dreams.

Linda , thanks so much for the link

Yes, indeed, many times I do feel as though i am "dropped" into these dream situations, feeling unaccustomed
to both the activities I am engaged in but also its a 'scene" that can have quite a bit of unfamiliarity with the types
of scenes I find myself in typically in PMR..

So in this regard, yes I do feel this tends to focus myself on the pertinent decisions that need to be made rather than
on the scenes , details or props that are apart of the dream sequences ..

Linda,

just a quick little follow up=

But I had a lot of those driving dreams over night. So just various traffic situations and, "road driving situations"
where I seemed only in partial control of my driving. Though , i really didnt run into any major incidents during these 'drives"
or accidents.

I will try to check into the forums a bit more often now.
I still have "my nose", ..into Monroe's second book, "Far Journeys".. im at about 72 % of the way thru now...

Thanks again for your dedication to the forums ..

I had a very funny dream last night. I was in a bus with a bunch of other people. All of a sudden we were in a psychedelic landscape. The bus stopped and you could see very tall aliens coming toward us. We could tell that the aliens wanted us to get out of the bus. I jumped up and said, "I'll go!" And I did. I had a very nice conversation with one of the aliens. I laughed as I woke up because it seemed a bit out of character for me.

It is out of character for me to run toward what everyone else thought was dangerous.

Last night I dreamed my car wouldn't start so I decided to try and do the 'pop the clutch' trick down a hill. And for a moment the car went out of control, but then I was able to steer and return to the house. But some kind of big machine my sister had rented rolled out of the garage, down the driveway, and down the hill. I didn't try and do anything as I knew I couldn't stop it. I went and got my sister and told her what happened and that we needed to go and look for it.

Thanks , Linda,,

But yes I used to do the 'pop the clutch trick" with the truck rolling a "few times", in the good old days

Its good to hear that ole reliable trick works even in "dreams" ..
