A friend sent me this link. I don't believe I've seen a link to this video posted here before, and I also did a search on its ID and did not find it. Moderators, feel free to delete my post if it is a duplicate.

The narrator in this video makes a lot of the same arguments (from physics) for this being a virtual reality as Tom makes. And they are presented in a way that seems pretty easy for people to understand.
What the video does miss, though, is the role of consciousness. It seems to imply that consciousness develops in the game characters once the simulation becomes sophisticated enough. Whereas MBT describes how consciousness is the player, outside of the game itself. Still, I think it does a good job of explaining physics facts that support the VR hypothesis in layman's terms.
