One of the coolest finds on the forum to date - THANK YOU!!!

We're close to the technology point where "AI" will be able to just index & wikipedia-ize all of Tom's videos. This is cool.

That tool is beyond awesome. We had discussed something very similar at the Immersive in Newcastle (not knowing that this already existed), but never got to the point of realizing it.
I think more people need to know about this awesome piece of programming!

Thanks a ton!!!

Nice, it definitely works. So long as the transcripts are well documented, the tool is bound to keep improving.

Well, there's also the Time Stamping Project, which is basically creating a very similar thing. But instead of having to rely on the correctness of the Google AI created transcripts, the keywords are created and attached by humans.

The advantage is that you don't miss out on certain hits, because the AI wasn't able to correctly transcribe for example the Libet Experiment (if you enter Libet into the Elastic Search Tool, you won't get any hits, although Tom talked about that experiment in his videos - you have to enter the first name of Benjamin Libet and then you get at least one or two hits).

The advantage is also that the keywords are prioritized by the volunteers into three different levels of relevance. So if Tom just remotely touches on a topic, the keyword gets prioritized as only lowly relevant. But if Tom is talking about a topic in length and depth, it is prioritized as highly relevant.

This is something the Elastic Search can't provide by design, because the AI doesn't understand the relevance of the words that are transcribed.

So both projects attack the same issue from different angles and perfectly complement each other.
