When I first came here a year ago (seems like ten years) I thought of Ted as the 10000 lb gorilla in the room waiting to pounce on unsuspecting IUOC's who harbor trivial notions( my fear).I found his text lengthy and impenetrable, well things have changed. I now seek out his thoughts, anecdotes and cipherings through the thread history.Like most (all) good things in my life, his posts have become like an aquired taste, as are my friends, the food I like,my musical leanings to the activities I enjoy even the choice of the Bourbon I drink(I'm working on this) all of these were not so palatable at first experience.

I am trying to say that I don't realize the value of things at first glance, I'm kinda thick like that.

I just want to say thanks for the time you give this site and for your solid insights.

THANK YOU TED!!!

I take this chance to wish you Happy Holidays! You are a great soul (I am so repetitive). I don't argue with my brother. I exchange opinions with you (my brother is not interested).

One thing though. I may appreciate you as a person, a soul, a IUOC, a member of the RWW, a great guy, but ....

... but ... next year I will keep giving you my opinions (you like it or not). Just note that if I give you a hard time (or hard times) it does not mean I ...

....

.... don't love you.

I LOVE YOU MAN!!!!!!!

Keep it up! and see you in some VR!!!!!

Thank you Ted for not trying to be a mentor or a teacher. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and time with us, this is priceless. Image

I would like to jump on this band wagon as well. I am probably more indebted to Ted than anyone. This MBT board would not be nearly as valuable and useful to its members as it is without the vast amount of hours and effort that Ted has put into it.

THANK YOU TED!

Not to float your boat Ted ;) , but yes, you do deserve the credit. You are a wise and dedicated individual, and it shines through with every post. Thanks for what you do. :)

Actually Ted,

Without your work this board would probably be so degraded as to be useless. There are a lot of boards out there, and without the consistent presence of a fair and balanced figure-head to administrate the thing, they become quasi-useless shells, for a variety of reasons.

And it is a fine thing to have this space and this group to puzzle and tussle with! But it just couldn't happen without this structured space.

All said, let's all now join hands in prayer that there is no internet or pesky computers in the afterlife!

Luckily for All we have constant connection on Indra's Net with no ISP fee, jack-ups, or hardware required, with specialized connectivity upon Intent.

The afterlife...would that then make this "place" the afterbirth with all the muck that implies? eww but true

It would be a gallimaufry, today's "Word of The Day in my inbox.

gallimaufry \gal-uh-MAW-free\, noun:

A hodgepodge; jumble; confused medley.
