I am so grateful for his work and time he spent to help us all with his critical skepticism. He helped me a ton reassessing my beliefs. Have a great journey!!

Oh my God, I just saw this. I was just talking to him about his newest project, which he was tackling with his predictable gusto. He will be so very missed. What a tremendous loss for the forum. His thousands of posts will be mined for years to come. He had a huge influence on me in so many ways. I wish I could have known him better, but I feel fortunate I got to interact with him so much. He had such rare wisdom, depth and true compassion. His dedication to this board came from a deep love and hope for the future of this PMR. I always thought I'd get the chance to meet him someday.

Ted, thanks for everything, my friend. I'll miss you.

A poem by Ted Vollers--in his words, "Dreamed one night and then written out by Ted"

Occupy the Earth
Arise, arise, all Human Billions,
Take up this Universal Path.
Peaceful join all sisters, brothers,
Yet Adamant our joined wills.

In Democracy Abides All Power,
If only we United are.
From Arab Spring to cities world wide,
We must become One Family.

Look within your self and see
what it takes to make all free.
Treat all as you would be treated,
Use only what you need to be.

Let them not divide and rule us,
We must all in amity,
Work together as we're able
To ensure we all live free.

There are neither police nor prisons
Suffice our United Voice to quell.
Occupy where e'er you come from,
City street or prison cell.

World divided, haves and have nots,
Will end in loss of Liberty.
All together, World United,
We must prevail or who'll be free?

Tune of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, Ode to Joy.

In the brief slice of the wave that I had an opportunity to interact with him, Ted offered me renewed hope that there was life outside of the cave.

Thank you Ted! :) <3

Have only today sadly learned about Ted's transition.

Reading MBT (coming to it via the Bob Monroe route) over ten years ago, and joining this forum at about the same time, has been the biggest single influence on my thought processes in this lifespan so far. For several years, visiting the forum was a must-do daily event, filling out my understanding through education and debate, including through PM answers freely given by Ted. Ted Vollers and the forum were indivisible. How he found the time and energy to contribute so tremendously as he did, with his many difficulties and often having to weather brickbats from critics at the same time, I do not know. But he did it with aplomb.

Thank you Ted! Your contribution to consciousness evolution has been immense, and, I am certain, will be ongoing.

Phil aka Arthur

I turned to Mr. Vollers during some of the most life shattering moments in my life.

The word "internet" has had different connotations throughout my life. When I first got on the internet, "internet forums" were a place with unknown, or negative connotations in the average vernacular. As of today, internet messages from the highest office in our government are broadcast to us daily through television, over the radio, and printed in newspapers.

I say this to say, no matter what any one thinks of when they think of what an "internet forum" is, Mr. Ted Voller's good nature had a profound and personal impact on my life that was very real.

Thank you, Ted.

It is a shame that Ted could not hear this outpouring of love while he was alive. Ted was a true warrior. That is not to say that we saw eye to eye. We had our back and forth in a thread I made about how much I love Charles Manson. Credit Ted with letting my free speech ride, even though it is a deeply unpopular opinion.

Thanks Ted.

TC's post about Ted made me realize how tough his life was, and yet he still managed to run this forum like a boss. It is very telling of what type of person you are dealing with when they give so much time energy and work for free.

And if you have not yet read through the extensive Ted vs. Claudio battle, it is a doosy. I find it wildly amusing myself.

I feel like this forum was almost more Ted's forum then even Mr. Campbell's. It seems different without his giant presence.

Good ole Ted Vollers. Gotta love it.

Thank you Ted for sharing your knowledge, awareness and understanding, for willingness and ability to help. You were an exceptional person. I consider myself being very lucky to know you.
