Hello,

So in the double slit experiment light behaves like a wave until you take a measure of the which way data, than it behaves like a particle.

My question is, why doesn't light behaves like a particle all the time? Why when we shot photons we see a diffraction pattern and not 2 lines?

What is the benefit of a wave behavior in terms of virtual reality entropy reduction?

Below are 4 videos that might help. The first one is a brief video (about 14 minutes long) in which Tom explains the relationship between a virtual reality, consciousness, the double-slit experiment, and MBT:

The second and third videos are from the 2016 MBT Los Angeles event (parts 1 and 2 of a 7 part series):

In this last video, Tom explains the relationship between a virtual reality and the double-slit experiment:

In a nutshell the double slit experiment shows that reality is based upon probability. It isn't light but particles that are measured. If the measurement is done at the slit the pattern will always be in a line. At that point of measurement a line is the only result possible. The measurement has been made there and the probability wave collapses there. The scatter pattern happens when the particles are measured when they hit the wall. At the wall there are more probabilities available so a wave results.

A digital probable reality has a lot of differences from a materialistic deterministic reality.

The benefit is the savings in resources. On a micro level the LCD does not want to spend the resources to track every potential particle. It would just be a huge waste.. so it cheats and just makes a random grab from the probability distribution from the potential possibilities as needed. The same is true on a macro level in the universe.. when you go to your spare room in your house no one barely ever goes in it just makes stuff up from what might be likely. The paint faded a little, some dust on everything, etc. All within the possibilities of how paint can fade and how much dust might accumulate in your house.
