Hello,

Could someone point me in the direction or share precisely what Tom clearly explains as the reason for the speed limit of the speed of light?

I'm only finding small pointers, can't seem to find the "official" answer.

Thank you all!

There is a frame rate to every virtual reality. Anything can only move one pixel per frame. Otherwise it would be teleporting. You can never move faster than one pixel per frame. The frame rate is very high. Much higher than current movies we watch and video games with something like 60 frames per second. Since the speed of light is the same regardless of the speed of the source it seems light speed is capped at the frame rate and nothing can ever travel faster than that. For example, the light from headlights in a car is not traveling at light speed plus the speed the car is going. It still only goes at light speed.
