Brian, while trying to catch up on Tom's videos I came across this very interesting answer about dreams.

Linda , thanks so much for the link

Yes, indeed, many times I do feel as though i am "dropped" into these dream situations, feeling unaccustomed
to both the activities I am engaged in but also its a 'scene" that can have quite a bit of unfamiliarity with the types
of scenes I find myself in typically in PMR..

So in this regard, yes I do feel this tends to focus myself on the pertinent decisions that need to be made rather than
on the scenes , details or props that are apart of the dream sequences ..

Linda,

just a quick little follow up=

But I had a lot of those driving dreams over night. So just various traffic situations and, "road driving situations"
where I seemed only in partial control of my driving. Though , i really didnt run into any major incidents during these 'drives"
or accidents.

I will try to check into the forums a bit more often now.
I still have "my nose", ..into Monroe's second book, "Far Journeys".. im at about 72 % of the way thru now...

Thanks again for your dedication to the forums ..

brian

I had a very funny dream last night. I was in a bus with a bunch of other people. All of a sudden we were in a psychedelic landscape. The bus stopped and you could see very tall aliens coming toward us. We could tell that the aliens wanted us to get out of the bus. I jumped up and said, "I'll go!" And I did. I had a very nice conversation with one of the aliens. I laughed as I woke up because it seemed a bit out of character for me.

what was "out of character " , for you ?

It is out of character for me to run toward what everyone else thought was dangerous.

Last night I dreamed my car wouldn't start so I decided to try and do the 'pop the clutch' trick down a hill. And for a moment the car went out of control, but then I was able to steer and return to the house. But some kind of big machine my sister had rented rolled out of the garage, down the driveway, and down the hill. I didn't try and do anything as I knew I couldn't stop it. I went and got my sister and told her what happened and that we needed to go and look for it.

Thanks , Linda,,

But yes I used to do the 'pop the clutch trick" with the truck rolling a "few times", in the good old days

Its good to hear that ole reliable trick works even in "dreams" ..

Linda,

i had kinda an interesting dream last night .
it started out kinda like some of my other car drives but was with a driver who was doing all these acrobatic tricks where i was a passenger in the car along with others.. Of course at first it was apprehensive and fearful as i did not know the driver and his capabilities... But he sorta proved that if you have confidence to trust your mental space ability to allow that to lead first that everything works out fine .. And it directs your physical avatar to accomplish these things

But there seemed a further message or lesson to me in that you can do all these things in NPMR because its more "mental space" that controls things thru your intent there , than the limitations we face here in PMR.. or perhaps it was a message to trust the use of "mental space" and intent more here in PMR, than I am currently doing so ..

It sounds like you got a lot out of that dream. I haven't had a car dream in a long time.

I had another false awakening this morning

I dreamed that I looked at my clock associated with my tv receiver , that i thought read about 930 Am.

This would have meant that i had over slept by a good couple of hours. But in the dream I realized I had read it wrong, and that it was 547 AM . ( the actual time was about 5;20 AM ).. after i woke up shortly after the dream ended ..I realized all of this ...

Sometimes when I have these, their also associated with Sleep paralysis...

Sounds like a good jumping off point for an OBE.

Linda ,

I failed a dream lesson last night

So I thought this was sorta a wake up call to get back to working a bit more diligently on my growth ..

I found a wallet with a lot of money in it, where i could have returned it to not to a person i considered a friend but more an acquaintance ..

I made a poor decision in deciding to keep the wallet because of the amount of money it had in it...

Have you had dream lessons like this , before my friend ?

Oh yes! And it brings a lot of shame the next day when you wake up.

I did have an interesting fear dream the other night. I was driving a car in a seaside town. And suddenly the road stopped and the car soared into the water. I thought for a minute that I could drive through the water. But the car started to sink. I was really calm and I remembered that I had recently seen a video on how to get out of a car that was getting submerged in water. After that thought I was suddenly on dry land.

I think that is one of the first fear tests I have ever passed.
