Larger Consciousness System (LCS)

The fundamental, evolving system of which all life (and all “reality”) is a part. Its purpose is its continued evolution through reducing its entropy and becoming “love”.

The Larger Consciousness System (LCS) is an evolving, self-modifying system that constitutes the fundamental reality from which all individual consciousness arises.

The LCS is best modeled as a digital information system that seeks to organize itself more effectively to achieve lower levels of disorder and higher functionality. Expressed in the more technical language of My Big TOE: consciousness evolves by lowering its entropy, including the entropy of its constituent parts.

The LCS includes and encompasses everything. It is the source and substrate of all Individuated Units of Consciousness (IUOCs), including those playing humans and other animal avatars in our physical universe (Physical Matter Reality, PMR). All IUOCs are netted within the LCS. The LCS is a social system.

The LCS facilitates consciousness evolution by creating virtual realities that provide a learning environment for meaningful interaction and free-will choice-making between IUOCs.

IUOCs contribute to the evolution of the LCS by lowering their own entropy. They do so by learning to make love-based choices in virtual realities such as our PMR. The purpose of our lives here in PMR, therefore, is to lower our entropy ‒ in other words, to “become love”.

The LCS is neither infinite nor perfect, but is a naturally occurring, unfathomably huge, yet finite information system engaged in its own evolutionary journey of which we all are a part.
